The Quark Matter 2025, held in Frankfurt from April 6–12, 2025, is the largest global conference in the field of high-energy heavy-ion physics. It brings together leading experimentalists and theorists to explore the properties of matter under extreme conditions, such as those that existed just after the Big Bang.
The 2025 edition attracted around 1000 participants from across the world, making it the largest meeting in the conference series to date. The scientific program featured a very large number of contributions, including hundreds of talks and poster presentations spanning topics such as quark–gluon plasma, particle correlations, jets, and new detector technologies.

The 18th Workshop of the European Microbeam Analysis Society (EMAS) on Modern Developments and Applications in Microbeam Analysis took place in Mataró, Spain from 11-15 May 2025.
The EMAS European Workshops have been organized every second year since its beginning in 1989 (with the exception of 2021), with the primary aim of evaluating the state-of-the-art and reliability of microbeam analysis techniques.

The 25th Topical Conference on Radio-Frequency Power in Plasmas brought together 126 experts from around the world to Schloss Hohenkammer, Germany, from May 19 to 22, to discuss advances in the theory and experimentation of radio-frequency and microwave power in plasmas.
The 25th Topical Conference on Radio-Frequency Power in Plasmas was organised by the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching, Germany, and was sponsored by SPINNER GmbH. Scientific topics in the conference program covered fundamental plasma wave physics, RF and microwave heating, current drive, diagnostics, high-power wave sources and antennas, materials processing, and waves in ionospheric and space plasmas.

The 27th International Conference on Computing in High Energy and Nuclear Physics (CHEP), organized by AGH University, Henryk Niewodniczanski Institute of Nuclear Physics – Polish Academy of Sciences and Jagiellonian University, took place in Krakow, from 19–25 October 2024. The conference hosted roughly 550 registered participants from 33 different countries and 166 institutions.
The CHEP conference series began in 1985, and has grown to become the largest of its kind, providing the unique opportunity for computing experts across particle and nuclear physics to come together and learn from each other. The focus of the CHEP conference evolves along with the ever-changing technologies and major scientific initiatives.

The 22nd International Metrology Congress, organized by the College Français de Métrologie, took place in Lyon, France, from 11–14 March 2025 in partnership with the Global Industrie exhibition. The conference hosted roughly 500 registered participants from 40 different countries.
The first International Metrology Congress (CIM) was organized in Bordeaux in 1983 by Pierre Barbier, a renowned metrology expert and founder of the Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM). The event was created to provide a platform for experts and practitioners in the field of metrology to exchange views on technical challenges, developments in standardization and emerging innovations.

The international conference on Strangeness in Quark Matter took place from 3 to 7 June, 2024, in Strasbourg, France.
This 2024 edition marked the 21st in the series and was held in France for the first time. It was also the first fully “in-person” edition since the pandemic. A total of 280 participants from 26 countries convened at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg to discuss recent experimental and theoretical advancements during a week-long programme including 210 oral and poster presentations.
